![]() Although modern medicine and technology has advanced drastically over the past decade, Breast Cancer is still a prominent issue. The American Cancer Society estimates that not only will 1 in 8 women get breast cancer in their lifetime, but also that 40,000 women will die of it this year alone. With these kinds of statistics, we can no longer stay idle. To do our part, Peterbrooke Chocolatier of Winter Park is selling Pink Ribbon lollipops through the month of October. For each one sold, 10% will be donated toward the Winter Park Memorial Hospital’s Free Mammogram Program. Early detection drastically increases the odds of successful treatment. At Peterbrooke, we’re all about that. So get your chocolate, fight cancer, and be a hero for women (and men) everywhere. Besides, what’s better than chocolate for a cause?
