The clock has just turned midnight and it is officially Christmas Eve! We have been busy in the shop making chocolate, packaging and placing beautiful bows on so many of our items. It can get a little hectic at times but we enjoy every single minute. Do you know why? Because of you!
Every time you take home one of our blue bags filled with goodies, you are not only taking amazing chocolate, but also a little bit of love from our Peterbrooke family. With each bow or tie we place on every package, we also put in a little love as we think of each guest who enters as part of our extended family.
We wish you a wonderful holiday season and to have time to enjoy your family and friends. It has been so much fun to meet you this Christmas season and to be a part of your gift giving. Thank you for being part of our family and we hope to see you soon!
Can you believe that Christmas is a little over a week away? Never fear…. we can help with your last-minute gift ideas. With so many choices in Christmas gift baskets, assortments, molds and dipped items we have something everyone on your list will enjoy.
One of the favorites is always our chocolate covered popcorn. We can hardly keep it on our shelves! If you stop by our shop you can see the chocolate elves in the back hard at work packaging popcorn at any point in the day.

Chocolate Covered Popcorn has a shelf life of two months.
days until New Years, and Kwanzaa in between, many are wondering when to get gifts. This question often arises when said gifts are edible, and unfortunately perishable, such as Chocolate. But if you’re wondering if the Chocolate Covered Popcorn under the tree will go stale before you have a chance to open it, you may be surprised.
Pure chocolate on its own tends to last around a year. (Yes, that’s right, a whole year!) So unless you’re already stocking up for next year’s holiday season, your gift of deliciousness should be fine. Typically, items that are covered in chocolate have shorter shelf lives than the chocolate itself. The chocolate, however, does help protect from the outside environment; because of this, we have items in the store that are good anytime between a few days to a few months. Popcorn, for example, lasts two months.
Seems that the only reason it won’t make it to Christmas is if you eat it first. Ask one of our Chocolatiers about the shelf life of your presents to make sure you get the perfect gift.
