![]() Well, it was a blast! With hundreds of new faces on the Avenue in just two days, the Art Festival was an exhilarating experience. Broissants were everywhere, chocolate was flying, and smiles were abundant. Needless to say, it was a tasteful, fantastic event. We hope you all got some artwork to take home, chocolate or otherwise. We even got a visit from Chef Edu Guedes, from the popular Brasilian television show Hoje Em Dia! Thanks Visit Orlando for showing us off, we love you guys! To everyone who came out this weekend, we thank you for making it a special one. Make sure you come out next weekend and grab a Broissant while you still can (throughout October on Saturdays and Sundays). Until then, we still have plenty of frozen bananas, popcorn, gelato, and well, everything else amazing and chocolatey you need to get you through a Monday. Hope to see you soon! ![]() This weekend is the 41st Annual Winter Park Autumn Art Festival. With hundreds of artists and showcases filling up the entire park, this is a festival worth attending. It’s completely free, and there will be food trucks, activities and fun all around. Peterbrooke is gearing up for the art festival, too. With a Broissant Bar outside and all our other goodies inside, there’s no better place to stop by for a snack. Grab a Broissant and a scoop of gelato to top it off with, like our team member Kay. (Check out the delicious video!) The art festival takes place from 9am-5pm on Saturday and Sunday. Come say hello to your favorite chocolatiers! ![]() Although modern medicine and technology has advanced drastically over the past decade, Breast Cancer is still a prominent issue. The American Cancer Society estimates that not only will 1 in 8 women get breast cancer in their lifetime, but also that 40,000 women will die of it this year alone. With these kinds of statistics, we can no longer stay idle. To do our part, Peterbrooke Chocolatier of Winter Park is selling Pink Ribbon lollipops through the month of October. For each one sold, 10% will be donated toward the Winter Park Memorial Hospital’s Free Mammogram Program. Early detection drastically increases the odds of successful treatment. At Peterbrooke, we’re all about that. So get your chocolate, fight cancer, and be a hero for women (and men) everywhere. Besides, what’s better than chocolate for a cause? For more information on Breast Cancer visit the Women’s Health website here. To learn about or schedule a mammogram and other services provided by the Winter Park Memorial Hospital, visit their website here or call them at (407) 303-7500. |
